It's about the impact of integrating smart technologies into real estate and civic infrastructure –
impact on the way we live our lives, and the way we interact with our buildings and cities.
thinkingbuildings 2012 will give delegates a vision of the future of the built environment, and a practical guide for implementing that vision and optimising the benefits.

Building on UNWIRED's hugely successful global WORKTECH series – which focuses on the future of innovation in the workplace and built environment – thinkingbuildings 2012 is a must-attend event for those interested in the future of our built environment.

A day of debates and interactive presentations will close the gap between the rhetoric and the application of integrated smart systems, putting buildings into the larger context of smart and sustainable cities.

Ultimately, integration of smart technology has to have a purpose – this event will look at some of the reasons for creating smart environments; economic development, sustainability, energy and cost reduction, changing human behaviour, creating more pleasant environments and more efficient infrastructure.
