Ashley holds a Master’s Degree in Intelligent Building Design & Operation, is a Chartered Engineer & Fellow member of the IET. Ashley has held senior IT management roles at JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Paribas Capital Markets & Morgan Stanley & led a boutique consultancy focusing on mission critical environments. Ashley joined UBS in 2012 and has responsibility for the IT infrastructure and strategy spanning UBS’ Data Centre's, and was responsible for the Technology design for the new London HQ at 5 Broadgate. Ashley has been intimately involved in Mission Critical Design programs spanning Data Centers and Corporate HQ buildings, and has operated in the US, Asia, & Europe.

David Harry

Vice President, Change Lead in Data and Information Management, Corporate Services, Deutsche Bank

David is Change Lead in Data and Information management for Corporate Services at Deutsche Bank. He is responsible for the internal space Management system (Manhattan) in particular Data Integrity – the system manages all occupancy internal recharging and tracks 90,000 resources globally, generating over €1.3 billion per annum of space cost allocations.

He has also just qualified as a tour guide for the City of London - and is an equity card carrying close-up magician!

Jeremy Myerson

Jeremy Myerson is an academic researcher, author and activist in people-centred design and innovation. He has joined Unwired to set up The WORKTECH Academy, a global knowledge network. He has published several influential books on workplace design and holds the Helen Hamlyn Chair of Design at the Royal College of Art, London. His most recent titles include Time & Motion (2013) and Life of Work (2014). A former journalist and editor on such titles as Design, Creative Review and World Architecture, he founded Design Week magazine in 1986 and later co-founded the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the RCA in 1999, which he directed for 16 years until September 2015. He has advised businesses and governments around the world and sits on the advisory boards of design institutes in Korea, Switzerland and Hong Kong. He was recently named by Wired magazine as one of Britain's 100 most influential people in digital technology.

Roberto successfully introduced well-being at workplace concepts by applying research results in different international lifestyle and business environments. Together with a worldwide leading architecture company, he is researching how stress in a trading floor can be reduced by using progressive and modern workplace designs and consequently improve employees job satisfaction, well-being, retention and performance.

Philip is an author, consultant and commentator specialising in the future of work. He predicts the way that new trends and forces such as emerging technology will shape how we work, live, learn and enjoy leisure.

He has written a number of books on the future of cities, work and workplace including The Creative Office, The 21st Century Office and Space to Work (all co-authored with Jeremy Myerson). He has also contributed to a number of other books including the Corporate Fool and the Responsible Workplace.

Philip Treleaven

Professor of Computing and Director of the Financial Computing Centre, University College London

Philip Treleaven is Director of the UK Centre for Financial Computing and Professor of Computing at UCL. Twenty years ago his research group development much of the early fraud detection technology and built the first insider dealing detection system for the London Stock Exchange. For the past 12 years Prof. Treleaven’s research group has developed algorithmic trading systems with many of the leading investment banks and funds, and for the past 4 years they have worked on HFT trading risk and systemic risk with the Bank of England and FCA. Current research includes the application of AI and blockchain technology to financial compliance and regulation.

Tim Yendell

Head of Workplace & Design, Royal Bank of Scotland

Tim is Head of Workplace & Design at RBS and leads ‘RBS Choice’, the bank’s workplace programme, and one of the central enablers for the transformation of RBS, driving workplace culture change through activity based working, financial & property portfolio performance and digital transformation.

He also leads the bank’s office design strategy, which includes all office design and development, research & innovation and strategic partnerships, to continue to develop and evolve the bank’s future workplace and was recently RBS design lead on the development partnership with Californian tech start-up accelerator & scale up company, RocketSpace for their recently opened London campus.

The early part of Tim’s career was spent working in architecture & interior design in Asia & Australia as well as in the UK and has held a number of senior roles in design, facilities & real estate management & capital projects delivery. Tim holds a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Design from the Edinburgh College of Art

Neil Rodel

Neil joined Macquarie in 2006 leading Technology Infrastructure for our Commodities and Financial Markets (CFM) business, based in Sydney. In 2010 Neil transferred to Houston in support of CFM global expansion and the Constellation Energy Integration. In 2014 returned to the UK as Head Enterprise Technology for EMEA. Last year Neil took on the additional responsibility of leading the EMEA Business Services Division, including Corporate Real Estate, Business Resilience and Sourcing and Vendor Management. Neil is a member of the Balance Gender Equality Group Champions and the Macquarie Foundation Advisory Group. His Team won Macquarie Foundation’s Pro Bono Advisors of the Year 2015. Before joining Macquarie Neil worked at a number of other Investments Banks across the City.

Gautam Sachdev

Based in London, Gautam Sachdev is the Global Head of Monitoring & Surveillance at Macquarie Group Limited. In his role, Gautam manages a team of ~50 individuals across various regional offices of Macquarie, responsible for managing day-day risk as it pertains to markets surveillance, eCommunications retention and monitoring, employee personal account dealing and control room surveillance. Prior to joining Macquarie in New York in 2014, Gautam was Global Head of Compliance Program Management at Citigroup in New York. From 2008 through 2013, Gautam worked in several risk management roles at HSBC Bank, New York and Sao Paulo, Brazil offices. Gautam holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from New York University.

Daniel Hawkins

Daniel has spent his career leading, delivering and developing commercial workplace operations and solutions, alongside being active in promoting the industry and building. He is a people oriented leader through and through. Currently Daniel is the Alliance Director for CBRE, responsible for the full delivery of Real Estate, Projects and Facilities Management services across EMEA for Macquarie Bank. For many years he has been actively involved in promoting young talent within the Facilities Management industry and he is now the Head of the YMF Industry network.
