“I have been attending the NY WORKTECH conferences regularly for four years and I find them to be an excellent array of presentations and discussions about design, technology, real estate, futurism and sociology relating to the workplace. The presenters are always well prepared and thought provoking and the audience is rich with expertise and insights. I always make new and valuable contacts at WORKTECH and come away feeling enthused and excited about developing and implementing new ways to improve the work environment. I highly recommend this conference to everyone interested in the evolution of how we work.”

WORKTECH17 Toronto Masterclasses will give delegates the opportunity to take a deeper dive into the Future of Work discussion, perfectly complementing the Conference day. Global speakers will explore future technologies, cutting edge award-winning workplaces, people, change and engagement on a more detailed level, allowing further debate and knowledge sharing.

We are delighted to be hosted by Deloitte this year in their new Bay Adelaide development, considered the “best place to work in Toronto/Canada”. A main focus of the masterclass sessions will be an in-depth look at this exemplar workplace.

Masterclasses: Tuesday 31st October 2017
Deloitte House, Bay Adelaide Centre, East Tower, Toronto, Canada

Deloitte’s New Toronto Headquarters covers the first 19 floors of a tower at Yonge and Adelaide, 420,000 square feet for more than 4,000 employees. Sixty-five per cent of the building is dedicated to communal work spaces, the four thousand employees are encouraged to roam around and work wherever they like. Employees do not have designated desks, each employee has a personal locker where they can pick up their laptop and documents then choose where they’ll spend the day depending on their task.

Hear about the business drivers for the new space as well as the approach and analysis, key enablers to encourage collaboration, social interaction and workspace flexibility will be explained.
